중앙대학교 건축공학과에서 학사 학위를, 네덜란드 델프트 공대에서 도시.건축.건축엔지니어링의 석사 학위를 받았다. 영국의 fosterandpartners, 황두진건축사사무소, 삼성물산 등에서 실무를 익혔고, 2014년 O-Scape Architecten 개소 후에 도시유형, 건축의 형식과 프로그램, 공간에 대한 지각에 관심을 두고 작업을 진행하고 있다.
한양대학교 건축학과 겸임 교수이며 언형세미나(Language+Form) Operator이다. 딩가동2번지-중랑구청소년커뮤니티센터로 21'대한민국 공공디자인대상- 최우수상(문화체육관광부 장관상)을 수상했다.
Sunyoung Park, DirectorLicensed Architect in the Netherlands
Sunyoung Park was born in Seoul. She graduated architectural Engineering in Chung-ang University. She was fascinated to the Netherlands which has planned from land use planning to construct buildings for 200years, and decided to study the international master course of architecture, urbanism, and architectural engineering at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. After she got the Master of Science at TU Delft in the Netherlands, She moved to United of Kingdom, and had a chance to work at fosterandpartners at London HQ. Coming back to Korea, She worked as a chief designer at DJH Architects. Moreover, she experienced several global projects with different disciplines at Architectural Design Team of Samsung C&T. With the invaluable working experiences over both scale and country, Sunyoung Park has started to walk into her own architectural way as a representative of O-SCAPE Arcthiecten in July 2014. She is working with an interest in architectural forms, programs, and perception of space in urban typology. Dingga-dong 2(Jungnang-gu Youth Community Center) won the 21st Korea Public Design Award - Grand Prize (Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Award).
